Mr. Jeetendra Kapoor

When I first visit Rajasthan, I was mesmerized by the beauty of this land. This place has deep roots and these deep roots are represented by its Art and Culture. Rajasthani Cinema is a great medium to represent the culture of Rajasthan and it should be appreciated. I greatly support Rajasthan Film Festival for organizing such an event, making it a great success and supporting Rajasthani Cinema. I hope this cinema reach greater success levels.

Mr. Javed Akhtar

The chief guest of Rajasthan Film Festival Javed Akhtar admired the Rajasthan’s talent and exclaimed that “Rajasthan is full of talent and has everything like music, craft but still the cinema is not developing at that pace.” He also targeted the government and said that “Things go hand in hand. Few steps should be ours and few by them, so that cinema can be grown”, also he suggested that the government should increase the allowed subsidies for the cinema.
Parsing the 60’s era of cinema he said that, “movies of that era were based on social issues. Their plots used to have moral and raised social issues but the topics for the present movie scenario has totally changed. That era should return to the cinema. He also promised that if the event for Rajasthani cinema is organized again, he would definitely be a part of it.

Rajasthan Film Festival is a Positive step for Rajasthani Films. This is a meaningful step for Rajasthani Cinema because it gives a platform to artists. Though the films made here are of low-budget, if a story is well presented, then it will be a victorious moment for it, all over the world. Language is not a barrier in the cinematic world.

Mr. Subhash Ghai

Mr. Mithoon

The land of Rajasthan has always motivated me. My first composition “Maula Mere” was supported by two Rajasthani musicians only. I respect and support the talent of the artists of Rajasthan. I am very happy to see events like Rajasthan film Festivals happening which supports and provide a good platform to Rajasthani Cinema and its artists.

Rajasthan is a beautiful place, and its art and culture are very attractive and pleasing. Rajasthani Cinema should get more recognition and should reach to greater heights.
